job summary: Are you looking to advance your manufacturing career with a local biopharma leader? We are seeking a detail-oriented individual available to work Monday through Friday, 10:30pm - 6:30am for a 6-month contract in Mansfield, MA. This 100% on-site, third-shift opportunity is ideal for an organized professional ready to impact product quality in a clean, state-of-the-art medical device facility.
location:
Mansfield, Massachusetts job type: Contract work hours: 7 to 3 education: High School responsibilities: Perform finishing techniques, including buffing, polishing, grinding, deburring, and etching, on machined products. Load and unload medical and surgical instruments in a laser marking machining center. Utilize basic measuring equipment, including micrometers, calipers, scales, indicators, optical comparators, and video measurement systems. Conduct routine visual inspections to detect product defects and non-conformances against blueprints and quality specifications. Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to established procedures with a moderate degree of supervision.
qualifications:
High School Diploma, Vocational Education, or equivalent. 2 to 4 years of experience reading blueprints and using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers). Developed technical skills in a mechanical or manufacturing setting. Proven ability to recognize and solve routine problems in the work area.
