Production Technician Stoughton, MA Apply SUMMARY:
Reporting directly to the Production Manager, the Production Technician is responsible for working on composite materials and products. Pay Range 21.00 - 22.00 Hourly - Plus Annual Bonus
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepares molds; mixes and casts composite materials. Cleans, inspects and assembles molds for production. Follows batch records to mix products. Completes daily production processes. Moves molds into and out of large (walk-in) ovens Works individually and on teams. Uses hand tools to loosen and tighten bolts, etc. Performs other duties as assigned.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Works well with multi-functional teams. Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with hand tools. Must have a positive attitude.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent required. Manufacturing experience preferred.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Must be able to lift, push and pull greater than 50 pounds. Must be able to stand for long periods of time. Must be able to walk through a large manufacturing environment. Must be able to use hand tools. Constant use of hands to handle, control or feel objects, tools, or controls. Repetitive hand and arm movements. Occasional bending and twisting. Frequently moving about to accomplish tasks. Constantly communicating with others to exchange information. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Must be able to wear PPE as necessary (safety glasses, hearing protection, steel toe shoes, etc.).
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Majority of work is performed in a manufacturing environment with noise levels within safety limits and acceptable lighting and temperature conditions.
