Job Description

Job Title:
Production Technician Job Description As a Production Technician, you will be responsible for analyzing, repairing, and testing returned products. You will initiate and implement corrective actions as required, ensuring quality and safety in your work area. Your role involves selecting and setting up appropriate assembly and test fixtures and equipment, as well as performing other duties as necessary. Responsibilities Analyze and repair returned products. Test a variety of electromechanical products. Initiate and implement corrective actions as needed. Select and set up assembly and test fixtures/equipment. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Perform diversified duties to analyze, troubleshoot, and repair products. Read print specifications, test schematics, and technical manuals. Use, set up, troubleshoot, and repair assembly and test equipment. Assemble electromechanical products as needed. Perform final acceptance testing on electrically operated devices. Inspect and test subassemblies and finished goods. Essential Skills Experience with production and assembly techniques. Ability to work from and read print specifications and technical manuals. Proficiency in using assembly and test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other tools. Ability to initiate and implement corrective actions. Familiarity with reading schematics and written/verbal instructions. Additional Skills & Qualifications Capability to perform diversified duties and troubleshooting. Experience with assembly line operations. Proficiency in using hand tools and machine operation. You will be regularly exposed to noise, dust, heat, and cold, typical of a manufacturing setting. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Weymouth, MA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
