Job Description
POSITION
PRODUCTIONTECHNICIAN
Position Summary :
We are looking for a Production Technician to increase our capacity to manufacture our electronic medical devices and uphold our reputation for fast delivery times while maintaining an exceptionally high level of quality. Infinite Biomedical Technologies (IBT) is at the forefront of helping people achieve intuitive operation of their prosthetic arms. We are bridging the gap the between man and machine through the development of non-invasive electrode interfaces, flexible batteries, and stylish yet simple software applications to operate prosthetic arms. To date, our devices have impacted over 6,000 people in 46 countries across the world.You Will:
- Assemble electronic medical devices under a quality management system, including cable assembly, heat shrink application for joint stabilization, soldering, and handling of small electronic boards
- Mount circuit boards within device enclosures and complete enclosure bonding/sealing
- Conduct inspections on incoming and outgoing materials, including electrical testing of assemblies for quality and function
- Hit manufacturing targets under a production schedule
- Complete manufacturing-related documentation (inspection reports, work orders, repair investigations, etc.)
- Maintain production stock
- Perform repairs on medical device assemblies
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in electronics manufacturing or electronic product assembly
- Demonstrated track record of high-quality, high-precision workmanship
- Hands-on experience with at least several of the following: cable assembly, soldering, heat shrink application, PCB handling, enclosure assembly and bonding
- Familiarity with electrical circuit testing equipment
- Organized, detail-oriented, and meticulous with manufacturing documentation
- Must be able to read, write, and speak in English
- Proficient in MS Office and computer skills
- Must be able to commute to IBT's downtown Baltimore office daily
- Works well in a team environment Nice to
Haves:
- Prior experience in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- Prior experience in medical device manufacturing
- Prior experience with electronic quality management systems (eQMS)
- Basic circuit debugging skills
- Experience working with a Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) software
