Job Description

Work Model:
This is a fully onsite role, with work performed at your designated Regal Rexnord office. ____________________ Manufacturing Engineering Technician Position Summary We are seeking a driven, collaborative Manufacturing Engineering Technician to join our team. In this multifaceted role, you will work cross-functionally with multiple production support departments. Reporting directly to the Manufacturing Engineering Department, you will play an immediate role in our success while continuously growing your skill set over time. Schedule:
Mon - Thurs 5 am - 3:30pm Responsibilities Partnering cross-functionally with engineering teams throughout the entire project lifecycle (conception, design, fabrication, assembly, programming, testing, guarding, optimization, and production handoff) New equipment builds and retrofits Collaborating on the reverse engineering and optimization of legacy equipment. Working with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems Mig and Tig welding of fixtures, parts, and frames Light sheet metal fabrication to print or in-field fitment Electrical control cabinet layout and wiring (PLCs, VFDs, Etc.) Opportunity, if desired, to program PLCs / motion controllers Fabricating or modifying parts on mill and/or lathe Preparing equipment for shipment (skids, crates, bracing) Coordinating the safe movement and optimization of manufacturing equipment layouts.
Lean / Cost
Out projects : Participate in lean events Use general knowledge to help reduce waste Use fabrication and mechanical skills to improve production throughput and equipment functionality Assist Maintenance Department Use electro-mechanical skills in conjunction with root cause analysis to assist maintenance with in-depth equipment troubleshooting and repair General facility wiring 120v-480v 3 phase Qualifications and Requirements Mechanical knowledge Mechanical assembly Mechanical troubleshooting Metal fabrication (MIG, shear, manual break) Basic electrical knowledge Basic understanding of pneumatic systems Knowledge of measuring devices (Tape measure, calipers, micrometers) Valid driver's license Regular availability for overtime
Desired Skills:
Basic manual machining knowledge Forklift experience Rigging, lifting, and equipment moving experience Control voltage knowledge Ability to wire PLC and control cabinets VFD installation and troubleshooting Follow and understand wiring diagram/schematics Metal fabrication (TIG) Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, basic Excel) Prototrak or CNC Experience Proven work experience as an Engineering Technician or similar role Associate's or technical degree in engineering technology or similar CAD (Solidworks) What you bring to the

Lifting/moving up to 75 lbs.
Salary Range:
