Immediate opening for an experienced manufacturing assembly technician. Primary function will be to perform assembly of electronic cable assemblies and wiring harnesses in accordance with drawings & specifications. Job Duties include hands on assembly, including wire cutting & stripping; use of hand & automated tools/equipment, hand soldering. Responsible for assembly of cables & harnesses from start to finish, by following work instructions, operating procedures, drawings & specifications. Requirements include fabrication of various types of electronic cable assemblies. Preparation, soldering, crimping, assembly & labelling. Perform tests. Follow processes and document work orders. Job requires ability to read, speak, & write English; distinguish colors; use measuring tools/devices. Must have the ability to effectively communicate and interface with other employees to plan, prioritize, and execute an aggressive manufacturing schedule. Must have a keen eye for details while being able to effectively meet production deadlines. Ideal candidate should have experience in various types of cable assemblies and the ability to solder to IPC standards is a plus!
