Job Description

Harvey Performance Company is hiring Manufacturing Technicians to support production at our Gorham, Maine manufacturing facility. These hands-on roles are part of the team that produces high-performance cutting tools used across aerospace, medical, and precision manufacturing industries. Our production schedules offer 4 day work weeks depending on the shift, providing extended time off during the week. Employees typically start in a specific production department where they receive hands-on training and build experience in that area. As they grow in the role, many employees have the opportunity to cross-train in other departments and develop skills that can lead to CNC machining or other advanced manufacturing positions. No prior manufacturing experience is required. Training is provided. Wheel Room / Prep Build and prepare grinding wheel packs used by our CNC machines. Cylindrical Grinding Operate equipment that prepares tool blanks before CNC machining.
Hone / Finishing
Run finishing machines that deburr and polish tools to improve surface quality. PVD Coating Support coating operations and monitor coating cycles used to finish tools. Quality Inspection Inspect tools using precision measurement equipment to verify accuracy. Tube and Label Package finished tools and prepare products for shipment.
