A Manufacturing or Production Technician works with manufacturing equipment and machinery. Performs set up and tests, monitors, adjusts and repairs machines used to produce products or other machines. Inspects equipment, troubleshoots problems with machines or designs.
Woodland Farms Brewery is seeking an experienced Canning Line Operator to join our beverage production team in Scarborough, Maine.

4 day work week. Monday-Thursday 7:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

COMPENSATION
Competitive hourly wage, commensurate with experience Responsibilities Set up, operate, monitor, and shut down the canning line. Complete changeovers for different can sizes, products, and packaging formats. Monitor fill levels, seams, carbonation, date coding, labeling, and package quality. Make routine equipment adjustments to maintain production speed and quality. Identify and troubleshoot common equipment and production issues. Perform required quality-control checks and maintain accurate production records. Complete cleaning and sanitation procedures before and after production. Coordinate with blending, cellar, quality, and packaging employees. Follow all GMP, food-safety, workplace-safety, and sanitation requirements. Assist with preventive maintenance and maintain an organized production area. Qualifications Minimum one year of canning, bottling, packaging-line, or comparable equipment-operation experience. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with a production team. Dependable attendance and strong attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced, wet production environment. Ability to stand for extended periods and repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds. Brewery, beverage, food-manufacturing, or co-packing experience is strongly preferred.
