Job Description

Electroplating Line Operator Agency:
Entech Staffing Position Type:
Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire Pay Rate:
$18.00 - $21.00 / hour (Depending on Experience)
Shift:
Monday - Friday, 8-hour shifts (40 hours/week plus overtime) Training takes place on the day shift alongside senior technicians. Shift placement occurs following successful completion of training. Placement will be on 2nd or 3rd shift. Entech Staffing is seeking dependable, safety-focused Electroplating Line Operators to join a premier metal finishing facility. In this role, you will operate automated and manual plating equipment to deliver high-quality zinc, zinc-nickel, and tin finishes for major automotive, industrial, and commercial clients. What You'll Do Equipment Operation:
Operate automated and manual electroplating lines according to precise job specifications.
Material Handling:
Load and unload components into barrels, racks, or baskets (ability to safely lift up to 40 lbs required).
Quality Control:
Verify work orders against customer specs and conduct routine visual inspections for coating quality, finish, and thickness.
Process Monitoring:
Monitor rectifiers, pumps, heaters, and process tanks; assist laboratory staff with routine chemical sampling.
Detailed Documentation:
Maintain accurate production logs, inventory records, and job paperwork.
Safety & Workplace Maintenance:
Follow all hazardous material and safety guidelines, perform preventive line maintenance, and support 5S housekeeping standards.
What We're Looking For Education:
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Environment & Physical:
Comfort working in a fast-paced industrial environment (exposure to chemicals, heat, water, and active machinery) and the physical capability to lift up to 40 lbs.
Core Skills:
Strong attention to detail, basic math and measurement skills, and the ability to strictly follow written SOPs.
Work Ethic:
Punctual, reliable, and team-oriented. Flexibility for overtime or weekend shifts based on production demand. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in manufacturing, industrial assembly, chemical processing, or metal finishing. Background in automotive manufacturing environments.
