Full Job Description Shift:
1st - 7am-3:30pm
Pay:
$20/hr What You'll Do Operate and monitor automated production and assembly equipment. Troubleshoot equipment downtime and help keep production running efficiently. Perform basic equipment maintenance, repairs, tool changes, and line changeovers. Work with HMIs, PLCs, robotics, and automated equipment to identify production issues. Perform quality inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other hand gauges. Read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings. Follow established production standards to meet safety, quality, cycle-time, and productivity goals. Escalate equipment, production, or quality concerns when necessary. Participate in 5S, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement activities. Support root-cause problem solving using tools such as 5-Why and 8D. Rotate between production responsibilities as needed and support cross-training. Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and company policies. What We're Looking For 3+ years of manufacturing experience Associate degree in Manufacturing Technology, Automation, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience Experience troubleshooting automated assembly or manufacturing equipment Familiarity with HMI, PLC, and/or robotic systems Understanding of manufacturing processes such as press/force, torque, soldering, and assembly Ability to use calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools Ability to interpret mechanical and electrical drawings Basic machine shop skills Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Green Belt certification preferred, but not required
