Value Added Distributors is hiring a full-time Industrial Production Technician for our manufacturing operation in Iron Mountain, MI. THE TYPE OF INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTION TECHNICIAN WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We're searching for someone who can meet the following qualifications: 18+ years old High school diploma or equivalent Strong time management and multitasking skills Effective communication skills Excellent interpersonal skills Ability to use and read tape measures and digital calipers Ability to use equipment such as saws, crimpers, and forklifts Willingness to learn and follow standard practices Ability to read and interpret technical work instructions and documents Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. safely Basic math and computer skills Ability to type 25+ wpm Prior industrial or manufacturing experience and forklift certification are preferred but not required; we provide training.

WHAT IT'S LIKE TO BE OUR INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTION TECHNICIAN

This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM . As an Industrial Production Technician, you'll assemble hydraulic hose products following production guidelines, operate tools safely, perform inspections, maintain inventory, and keep your work area organized. You will collaborate with team members to meet timelines, identify product issues, adhere to quality standards, and participate in ongoing training for consistent output.
