COPY LINK link Manufacturing Engineer (Hands-On / Production Support) - 1st Shift | Direct Hire πŸ“ Livonia, MI πŸ•’ 1st Shift πŸ’² Up to $90,000 Base Salary The Adecco Permanent Recruitment team is partnering with a manufacturinganization seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer to support production operations and drive equipment reliability. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly on the floor, troubleshooting equipment, and improving processes in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues on production equipment Provide real-time support to minimize downtime and keep production running efficiently Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to improve machine performance and reliability Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives (lean manufacturing, process optimization) Assist with equipment installation, upgrades, andmissioning Develop and update SOPs and work instructions Monitor equipment performance and rmend improvements to increase uptime and output Support preventative and predictive maintenance programs Ensurepliance with safety standards andpany policies
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent hands-on experience) 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical and electrical systems Experience working directly with production equipment and machinery Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals Strong problem-solving andmunication skills Comfortable working in a hands-on, shop floor environment
Preferred:
Experience with CNC machines, injection molding, or automated equipment Basic PLC troubleshooting knowledge Exposure to lean manufacturing tools (Kaizen, 5S, Six Sigma) Experience in high-volume production environments
Work Environment:
Primarily based on the production floor Hands-on role requiring standing, walking, and interaction with machinery May require occasional off-shift or on-call supporting technology preferred.

Pay Details:
