Job DescriptionWe are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Operator 1 to join our team in St. Joseph, United States. As an Operator 1, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing operations, ensuring smooth production processes and maintaining high-quality standards.

Operate and monitor various production equipment and machineryLoad, assemble, and unload parts and components from different machinesConduct regular quality inspections on parts and components to ensure adherence to quality standardsComplete necessary paperwork and maintain accurate production recordsParticipate in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) activities and report any machine anomaliesAssist in training new employees and cross-train on other functions within the teamMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in line with 5S philosophyContribute to continuous improvement processes (CIP) and participate in Kaizen eventsCollaborate with team members to meet production schedules and goalsPerform other essential duties as assignedQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institutionPrevious machine operator experience is helpful but not requiredStrong mechanical aptitude with the ability to use and operate hand and air toolsProficiency in reading various types of functional gaugesExcellent attention to detail and quality control skillsGood interpersonal, organizational, verbal, and written communication skillsBasic math skills for measurements and record-keepingPhysical ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weightsFlexibility to work overtime when required, sometimes with little advance noticeKnowledge of manufacturing processes and safety procedures (preferred)Commitment to workplace safety and willingness to follow all safety protocolsAbility to work collaboratively in a team environmentStrong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions efficientlyAdditional InformationBOSCH is a proud supporter of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics) Initiatives.
