Job Description

SRC Refrigeration™ designs and manufactures high quality custom walk-in coolers, freezers and temperature-controlled storage systems for a wide range of industries and applications including convenience stores, grow rooms and more. The Manufacturing Technician on the glue line is responsible for applying bonding materials, assembling insulated panels, operating equipment, and supporting production to meet quality and schedule requirements in a walk in freezer manufacturing environment. Core Production Duties
  • Apply adhesive or foam bonding materials to insulated panels or components
  • Align and position panels, metal sheets, or insulation to ensure proper bonding
  • Assemble wall, ceiling, or door panels used in walk in coolers/freezers
  • Follow work instructions, build sheets, and production specs exactly Equipment Operation
  • Operate glue dispensing equipment or bonding machines
  • Adjust machine settings such as flow rate, pressure, or temperature based on product specs
  • Load adhesives or materials into machines as needed
  • Monitor equipment performance and flag issues to maintenance Additional Responsibilities
  • Build manufacturing components for final assembly
  • Erect and break down walk in structures with attention to safety
  • Operate equipment in accordance with manufacturing standards and operating procedures
  • Maintain a clean work area, free from debris and discarded material
  • Adjust equipment to ensure quality production
  • Inspect finished assemblies for quality adherence to specifications
  • Maintain inventory of raw materials
  • Transfer finished assemblies to designated areas
  • Plan and layout work to meet production schedule requirements
  • Prepare production documents, such as standard operating procedures, manufacturing batch records, inventory reports, and productivity reports
  • Inspect and verify the functionality of safety equipment
  • Troubleshoot problems with equipment, devices, and or products
  • Provide advice or training to other technicians
  • Cross train between departments
