Job Description
Our client is looking for an experienced Powder Coat Painter for 1st shift at their facility in Taylor, MI. Must have Steel Toed Work Boots, be able to load/unload 50# steel parts repeatedly and organize for packaging. Will also need to monitor the machine/parts through the powder coat line to ensure even distribution of powder.
Required skills:
Technical Knowledge
•Familiar with the Powder Coating application and electrostatic process Attention to detail Physical Stamina
•Ability to stand for long periods of time, work in varying temperatures and lift up to 55lbs regularly.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience
•1 year minimum Knowledge of pretreatment process (Iron Phosphate wash)
Work Environment:
Fast paced manufacturing environment Requires wearing personal protective equipment (PPE), including disposable N95 respirators
