The Manufacturing Engineering Technician I supports production stability by helping translate engineering intent into clear, repeatable shop-floor execution. This entry-level role works closely with manufacturing engineers and production teams to maintain work instructions, tools, fixtures, process checks, and training readiness so operators can build safely, correctly, and efficiently. This position is highly hands-on and focused on learning core manufacturing processes while contributing to daily production success.

Job Responsibilities:
Develop, update, and validate work instructions to support consistent and repeatable manufacturing processesAssist with tool management and torque control programs to ensure proper usage and complianceSupport startup verification activities to confirm readiness of equipment, documentation, and processesHelp ensure fixtures, tooling, and workstations are properly set up and ready for productionDocument production issues clearly and escalate concerns to engineering or supervision as appropriateSupport 5S initiatives and maintain point-of-use organization and standardization on the shop floorAssist with pilot builds, new product introductions (NPI), and product transfers between facilitiesSupport training readiness by ensuring instructions, tools, and materials are available and accurateProvide hands-on production support, troubleshooting basic issues and escalating when needed
Job Requirements:
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Technical diploma, associate degree, or equivalent hands-on technical experience.
Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude.
Experience building, wiring, or troubleshooting industrial equipment, test systems, or automation.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings.
Comfortable working hands-on with tools, instruments, and test equipment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in a manufacturing or production test environmentFamiliarity with electrical safety practices and lockout/tagout (LOTO)Exposure to high-mix or complex product environmentsExposure to UL standards, electrical testing, or compliance environmentsBasic familiarity with PLCs, instrumentation, or data acquisition systems
