Search Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Production Tech to provide hands-on leadership and support within a manufacturing environment. This role will help coordinate daily production activities, guide and train team members, monitor safety and quality, and support continuous improvement efforts to meet production goals.
Responsibilities:
Lead, train, and support production team members to meet safety, quality, and production goals Coordinate daily production activities and help manage schedules based on orders, materials, and available resources Monitor assembly and fabrication processes to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards Use Epicor MRP or similar systems to support production planning, material tracking, and reporting Promote cross-training and maintain work instructions to support an efficient and flexible workforce Identify process improvements and opportunities to reduce waste, improve productivity, and control costs Enforce safety procedures, address hazards promptly, and report incidents as required Track production performance and communicate issues, opportunities, and recommended solutions to leadership Coach team members and promote accountability, teamwork, and a positive production environment
Requirements:
High school diploma and 2+ years of manufacturing leadership experience; technical or college education may be considered in place of some experience Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical assembly, and/or fabrication processes Experience using computers, including Microsoft Word and Excel Experience with MRP systems; Epicor experience preferred Strong understanding of manufacturing safety and quality practices Ability to read and understand production requirements, work instructions, and technical information Strong leadership, communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills Ability to work the assigned shift and overtime as needed Manufacturing production planning, scheduling, or supervisory experience preferred
Schedule:
1st and 2nd shift available
Compensation:
$20.00 per hour
