Job Description

Job Summary:
The purpose of this position is to be a Harness Technician. You will be responsible for the precision assembly, inspection, and testing of complex wire harnesses. This role requires adherence to stringent quality standards, detailed technical specifications, and industry regulations. The technician will contribute to building high-reliability products that meet the safety and performance requirements. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assemble electrical harnesses to meet customer needs.
  • Read and interpret drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, and work orders.
  • Will be trained on all equipment within the harnessing line.
  • Review work activities with Line lead.
  • Inspect all wire lengths, and make sure all parts match the Work Instruction, and all drawings.
  • Follow all Quality processes.
  • Tag harness and all branches with proper identification.
  • Adjust as needed all electronic equipment.
  • Correct defects.
  • Test product to ensure conformance to specifications.
  • Test functional performance
  • Identify and repair defects, ensuring zero errors and follow QAT'S process.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

  • Ability to work with others in a team atmosphere. Required Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent and 2+ years' experience in Harnesses and Braiding in a Manufacturing setting.
  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Technical aptitude and experience with tools and machinery
  • Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position has no supervisory responsibilities
Working Conditions:
This job operates in a professional office environment and a manufacturing setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, fax machines, and calculators. While on the floor, you may be subject to loud noises.
Physical Demands:
The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb, or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Pay:
$24.10 - $26.57 per hour
