Job Description
WHY DO WE NEED YOU?
Reporting to the Plant Manager, the EHS Manager plays a key strategic role in shaping, developing, and advancing the plant's environmental, health, and safety function. This position is responsible for proactively designing and implementing safety and environmental programs that foster a safe, healthy, and engagement-driven work environment. Key Responsibilities Lead the development and execution of the plant's overall EHS strategy, including the annual EHS plan. Build and evolve a strong safety culture across the facility through leadership, accountability, and employee engagement. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental, health, and safety regulations, as well as corporate and plant policies. Assess current EHS practices, identify gaps, and implement innovative solutions to continuously improve performance. Partner closely with plant leadership to integrate safety into all aspects of operations. Serve as a trusted advisor and influential leader to managers, supervisors, and employees at all levels of the organization. Lead incident investigations and resolution processes, ensuring root causes are identified, and sustainable corrective actions are implemented. Coordinate plant safety teams and initiatives, establishing processes and structures that support long-term success and continuous improvement. IS THIS JOB FOR YOU?
Education Bachelor's Degree preferred in Business Management, Engineering, Health & Safety, or Environmental Management Experience 3-5 years of Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) management experience required Licenses & Certifications American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE) certification preferred National Safety Council certification preferred SWPPP Operator / SARA / CERCLA / RCRA certifications preferred Technical / Digital Skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Experience supporting safety policy development, training, and regulatory compliance required Leadership & Communication Strong verbal and written communication skills required Ability to conduct public speaking and group training required Strong teamwork and employee engagement skills required #LI-ME1 A LITTLE MORE ABOUT US

Saint-Gobain aims to deliver a comprehensive Total Rewards package to support our employees' well-being and help improve daily life for themselves and their families. We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer potential candidates. Provided is the national pay range for this position, which is $92,000 to $142,000 per year. However, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 12% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position is $103,000.00 to $159,000.00. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.
