Cargill is seeking a Line Operator I to support safe, efficient production in our manufacturing facility. In this role, you will operate and monitor automated and manual line equipment, perform routine quality checks, and ensure compliance with strict food safety and sanitation standards. You will complete basic equipment adjustments, document production data, and assist with changeovers and cleaning. Working in a fast-paced, team-based environment, you'll be expected to follow all safety protocols while contributing ideas for process improvement and reliable, high-quality output. Responsibilities Operate and monitor production line machinery to meet daily output targets Perform routine quality checks and record production data accurately Follow all food safety, sanitation, and housekeeping standards Conduct basic equipment adjustments and report maintenance needs Support line changeovers, cleaning, and setup activities Adhere strictly to safety procedures, including PPE and LOTOIdentify and communicate process issues or improvement ideas to supervisors Work collaboratively with team members and shift leads to maintain smooth operations Required Skills Production line operation Equipment monitoring Basic mechanical troubleshooting Quality control checks Food safety and sanitation Lockout/Tagout procedures Forklift or pallet jack operation Reading production documentation Data entry and reporting Adherence to SOPs and safety protocols
