Manufacturing Technician•Bacterin Vaxxinova US is seeking an individual to join us as a Manufacturing Technician on the Bacterin production team in Worthington, Minnesota. About the role:
The Manufacturing Technician•Bacterin is responsible for assisting and supporting the process, to ensure site wide compliance in production, testing, and distribution of veterinary biologic products, within the guidelines set by regulatory agencies.
Shift:
Monday to Thursday 6:30am to 4:00pm, Friday 7:00am to 11:00am
Pay:
$20•$26 depending on experience and education.
Main Responsibilities :
Work under minimal supervision to assist with product production while maintaining a high level of process clarity with direct management Follow SOPS in an efficient and accurate manner Aseptically assist in antigen production or serial processing to ensure on-time delivery Clean and maintain the aseptic environment; maintain cleanliness of facilities Assist with necessary documentation, ensuring accurate and complete information Maintain inventory of laboratory consumables Assist in investigation of laboratory error to identify root cause and prevent repeated errors Assist other departments as requested and complete other duties as assigned Promote safety in all areas of work, professional courtesy, and a positive work environment within the company
Qualifications and Capabilities:
Experience working in a regulated environment including the USDA/CVB, C-CVB, VICH, OSHA, Federal, State, and Local Agencies is preferred. Ability to learn and apply biological manufacturing processes including aseptic technique, product flow, bacterial growth methods, good documentation, etc. Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations Ability to multi-task Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to follow department SOP's (Standard Operating Procedure) Ability to read, write, comprehend, and follow verbal & written instructions in English Ability to adapt and react positively to changes in daily routine Ability to stand on feet for long periods of time; bending, twisting, and performing fine motor manipulations required Ability to lift 50 lbs. occasionally Ability to pass medical clearance
Experience/Educational Requirements:
Highschool diploma or equivalent with at least 2 years of manufacturing or laboratory experience A.S. or B.S. degree in laboratory technology, animal science, or related field Benefits at

$20.00•$26.00 per hour
