LHB Industries is currently seeking line attendants, no previous experience required. This is a fantastic opportunity that not only provides the chance to work and collaborate with a dedicated team, but also allows you to make a difference in the community. Performs various duties at filling lines, carton machines, assembly, and packaging areas. Places cans on the production line, places actuators in cans, places cans in unit cartons. Inspects components and products in various stages of manufacturing to maintain proper quality level. Reports any discrepancies to Production Supervisor, Line Operator, Production Coordinator, or Production Manager. Maintains workstations in clean and orderly fashion at all times. Assists in the general clean up of all production and assembly lines upon completion of activity. Observes safety regulations at all times. Occasionally, moves light, weight cartons of raw materials from pallets to workstation. Other duties as assigned. Ability to learn and understand department work instructions for job responsibilities. Ability to work safely, quality minded, productive, and efficient manner. High School diploma or equivalent. Production manufacturing experience preferred.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENT
This position is part of a specialized employment program designed to expand opportunities for individuals who are legally blind. As such, candidates must meet the program's eligibility criteria, including verification of legal blindness. Documentation will be requested following a conditional offer of employment and must be provided prior to the start date.
