Job Overview We are currently hiring multiple Maintenance Technicians for a fast-paced paper plate manufacturing facility. Hiring for 2nd and 3rd shifts. 2nd shift runs 3p-11p, & 3rd shift runs 11p-7a.
Job Requirements:
Previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing, production, warehouse, or industrial environment required. Apartment or building maintenance does not qualify for a manufacturing environment! Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills Basic electrical troubleshooting experience preferred Experience with conveyors, motors, bearings, gearboxes, hydraulics, pneumatics, and production machinery is a plus Ability to use hand tools, power tools, meters, and basic maintenance equipment Ability to work independently and as part of a team Must be dependable and have strong attendance Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, lift, push, and pull throughout the shift Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Willingness to work overtime as needed

Duties Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on manufacturing equipment, including hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues using schematics, electrical blueprints, precision measuring instruments (such as ammeters and ohmmeters), and engineering troubleshooting techniques. Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to document work orders, track maintenance history, and schedule future tasks. Conduct electrical diagnostics on low voltage and high voltage systems; perform electrical system repairs and maintenance in accordance with safety standards. Operate industrial tools including welding equipment (including welding), scissor lifts, and other machinery safely to perform repairs or upgrades. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints to identify root causes of equipment failures. Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime through quick troubleshooting of equipment issues such as PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) failures or hydraulic/pneumatic system faults. Maintain safety standards by adhering to OSHA regulations related to electrical systems, high voltage work, and general plant safety protocols. Support continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing equipment performance data and recommending upgrades or modifications. Qualifications Minimum of three years of experience in industrial maintenance within a manufacturing environment, preferably in paper or packaging industries. Strong knowledge of industrial mechanics, electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and HVAC/R systems. Proficiency with CMMS software for maintenance tracking and planning. Skilled in troubleshooting electrical systems using schematics, blueprints, ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools. Experience with equipment repair including welding ( welding preferred), hydraulic repairs, electrical diagnostics, and mechanical adjustments. Ability to operate scissor lifts safely; valid certification is a plus. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation troubleshooting. Mechanical knowledge complemented by the ability to read technical schematics and blueprints accurately. Strong analysis skills with the ability to quickly identify issues and implement effective solutions under pressure. Excellent communication skills in English; customer service orientation is valued when interacting with internal teams or external vendors.
