5:45am-4:30pm Lead the line and make an impact! We're looking for a dependable and motivated Production Line Operator to join a fast-paced food manufacturing team in Kansas City, MO. This is a great potential to hire opportunity for someone with strong leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving skills who enjoys keeping production running safely and efficiently. You'll be cross-trained on multiple production lines and equipment, perform changeovers and quality checks, troubleshoot minor equipment issues, and help lead the team in meeting production goals. Production Line Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Lead team operating the applicable production line
  • Champion safety and quality guidelines and maintain 5s in the production department
  • Prepare production equipment for runs, including proper safety checks and documentation
  • Operate all production equipment and conduct efficient product changeovers
  • Maintain production areas in proper state of cleanliness and follow all SOPs; follow GMPs and keep company in compliance with certifications (Organic, Kosher, HACCP, SQF, etc.)
  • Perform Redzone production counts, quality checks, and downtime recording
  • Properly handle blends and materials and report on defective ingredients or machinery
Production Line Operator Requirements:
  • Previous food manufacturing experience strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety, and PPE requirements
  • Knowledge of manual and power jack and forklift operation (training will be provided, as necessary)
  • Basic computer skills: Redzone experience a plus but not required
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Must lift up to 50 pounds
  • Stand for entire shift
  • Proven communication, teamwork, and leadership skills; strong ability and willingness to problem-solve
