Production Drawing Technician Winco Window Company - 3.4 University City, MO Job Details Full-time $18 - $25 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Disability insurance Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Vision insurance Qualifications Customer communication Full Job Description Commercial Aluminum Window Company is seeking an individual who is ready to be an essential part of a successful, ever-growing industry. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to: Create production drawings for the manufacturing plant from project drawings or customer take-offs. Prepare manufacturing work order instructions and documents utilizing D'Calc and other company software as required. [will train]. Prepare Purchase Orders to obtain needed materials. Written and verbal communications with inter-departmental contacts, sales representatives, and outside customers. Document all job-specific correspondence with both Internal and External Contacts. Other duties as directed by Management.
Knowledge/Skills:
Basic CADD skills; Knowledge of CADD beneficial to learning D'Calc. Computer literate in a windows-based environment (Outlook, Excel, Word). Knowledge of window & door construction is a plus. Technical math, problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Excellent communication and time management skills. Experience with radius in a manufacturing environment. Will provide training for company software.
Education:
Associate's degree preferred or related work experience.
Physical Demands :
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to handle and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk and stoop or crouch. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. Non-Exempt with no supervisory responsibility. Hours of work and days are Monday through Friday 8 hours per day. Overtime as needed.
