We are currently searching for a Manufacturing Technician to join our office in Cary. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a history of creative problem solving, mastery of engineering principles, and practical knowledge of manufacturing processes. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a passion for product development are essential to our team.
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble and test medical devices and consumer products Complete device history records Work within an ISO 13485-compliant Quality Management System Assist clients in design transfer and troubleshooting manufacturing processes Author and execute assembly instructions, calibration procedures, and quality control procedures Design for manufacturability and change controls Process development, line setup, and line clearance Supply chain management, including part fabrication, component selection, and assembly Test fixture development and design Program management, including timeline and budget management Time studies and labor analysis MRP system management Collaborate with R D, quality, and suppliers
Skills/Qualifications:
5+ years of box build/electromechanical manufacturing experience Understanding of a wide array of manufacturing methods Experience working within a quality system, preferably one that is
ISO 13485
compliant Excellent verbal and written communication skills Experience managing projects and teams, able to manage client interface
