Manufacturing Technician Job Description As a Manufacturing Technician, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, monitoring, and controlling equipment, systems, and processes. You will ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of manufacturing, filling, and packaging rooms and equipment following standard operating procedures. You will execute the production schedule to meet production goals and handle labeling and components correctly. Participation in event response, reviewing and authoring SOPs, identifying and resolving quality issues, and assisting in equipment maintenance will also be part of your role. Training fellow employees and recording production data are key responsibilities. Responsibilities Setup, operate, monitor, and control equipment, systems, and processes. Clean and sanitize manufacturing, filling, and packaging rooms and equipment per SOPs. Execute production schedule to achieve production goals. Handle labeling and components correctly; transferring, counting, FIFO, returns, etc. Actively participate in and support event response. Review and author SOPs and other documents as required. Identify, report, and resolve quality issues. Execute and/or assist during equipment maintenance, including restoration of lost function, predictive and preventative maintenance. Train fellow employees in areas of expertise and aggressively learn systems and equipment outside of own expertise. Record/review production data in BPR and associated forms. Follow all safety and environmental requirements in the performance of duties. Other accountabilities, as assigned. Essential Skills Experience with GMP and cleanroom environments. Previous experience in manufacturing operations. Attention to detail and ability to stay on-task in a fast-paced environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications Punctuality and presence on scheduled days. Biowork experience is acceptable. Work Environment This position requires working night shifts following a 2-2-3 schedule from 6 PM to 6:30 AM in a regulated manufacturing setting. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Clayton, NC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.33 - $24.33/hr.
