Overview:
The Production Technician position offers an excellent entry-level opportunity for recent university graduates and experienced individuals interested in production and manufacturing operations for vaccine production. This role involves supporting the manufacturing process through hands-on activities, including sterile supply assemblies and media formulations, while adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Pay:
$21/hour
Schedule:
2-2-3 shift cycle 2 days on 2 days off 3 days on/off pattern 44 hours, 36 hours, and 40 hours alternating
Main Responsibilities:
Cleanroom setup and breakdown Handle and move materials up to 50 lbs Follow GMP/cGMP, SOPs, safety, and government regulations Manage inventory and materials Prepare and move equipment Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment Maintain/prepare sterile equipment Label and manage clean/sterile equipment Transfer and deliver samples Use systems such as SAP, MES, Kanban, and PLC Complete safety training and compliance activities
Qualifications Education:
Science or Engineering degree + 0-1 year experience
OR:
No degree + 3+ years of relevant experience Basic computer skills Microsoft Office knowledge Manufacturing experience preferred Must be able to pass SAM screening
