Job Description

Kellanova is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our manufacturing and packaging lines running safely and efficiently. In this on-site role, you will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment, troubleshoot mechanical and basic electrical issues, and support line changeovers and installations. You'll document work in our maintenance systems, collaborate with operations and engineering teams, and uphold strict food-safety and OSHA standards. Responsibilities Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production and packaging equipment in a manufacturing environment Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues to minimize downtime Conduct routine inspections, adjustments, and repairs following safety and quality standards Document maintenance activities, parts usage, and equipment status accurately Collaborate with production, engineering, and safety teams to improve equipment reliability Support installation and commissioning of new machinery and line modifications Follow all company, OSHA, and food-safety procedures in a clean manufacturing setting Participate in continuous improvement efforts and suggest process or equipment enhancements Required Skills Industrial equipment maintenance Mechanical repair Basic electrical troubleshooting PLC interface familiarity Pneumatics and hydraulics Preventive maintenance (PM) Reading technical schematics Welding or fabrication basics Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) Food safety and OSHA compliance
