Job Purpose:
Ensuring the optimal running of the Bear packaging line by manually feeding and packaging products. Operating the packaging machine and ensuring the optimal operation of the machine. Inspection tasks during production Pro-active attitude towards continuous improvement regarding safety, quality and efficiency
Key Result Areas:
Assist with the start-up of the packaging machines and the change-over to a new format Manually feeding of the flow wrapper and the cartons Manually assembling packs. Mount and change the foil reels Supply the cartoning machine Monitor the proper operation of the machines and make adjustments where necessary Inspection tasks & registration: Quality check, CCP check, … Assist with the stopping of the machines at the end of production Clean the packaging machines and the work place Supervision of the overall tidiness and cleanliness of the workplace Knowledge and application of necessary GMP & safety rules and standards Signal and register technical malfunctions of the equipment Signal and register any non-conformities or abnormalities of the products and the packing material
Requirements:
Education (degree): High School diploma or equivalent Specific knowledge: Must be able to perform duties following all regulatory
GMP/FSMA
food hygiene practices Basic computer and math skills
Experience:
Prior Experience in a production setting , ideally in an FDA regulated environment Experience with inspections and/or quality control Good communication skills, both written and oral; ability to read and write effectively
Language:
English verbally & written Personal competences: Team spirit, Open Dialogue, Passion Continuous improvement mentality Aptitude for handling repetitive tasks Ability to perform manual operations quickly, without loss of quality Ability to work independently or as part of a collaborative team
