Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated individuals to join our manufacturing team. You will begin with converting and packaging workstation mats, installing tooling into injection molding machines, and wire extrusion. In this vital role, you will be hands-on in a fast-paced factory environment, utilizing your mechanical aptitude and technical skills to assemble, inspect, and optimize manufacturing operations. Your proactive approach will contribute to maintaining high safety standards, improving processes, and ensuring the delivery of quality products. Duties Operate various manufacturing equipment including power tools, hand tools, forklifts, and measuring instruments to assemble and process components efficiently. Conduct manual handling and heavy lifting safely while adhering to safety protocols and standards in production environments. Assist with quality control by inspecting parts using measuring instruments and ensuring compliance with safety standards in production. Manage inventory within the warehouse or manufacturing facility, including managing stock levels and organizing materials for production flow. Collaborate with team members or supervisors to manage production or assembly teams, ensuring smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks. Qualifications Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks consistently without compromising safety or quality. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods. Prior Injection molding or extruder experience is highly desirable. Ability to read and interpret work orders, tape measure, specifications, and production documentation. Basic math and measurement skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.
