Job Summary We are seeking a motivated Line Operator Trainee for the second shift to join our dynamic manufacturing team. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills in plastics manufacturing processes, quality inspection, and materials handling. The successful candidate will support production operations by learning and executing various tasks under supervision, contributing to efficient and safe plant operations. Responsibilities The TRAINEE will master the ability to perform the following duties and responsibilities demonstrated by the Production Line Operator. Ensure assigned team is fulfilling its role in running smoothly and efficiently. Improve individual skills and enhance teamwork. Achieve all Production objectives. Act as liaison between management, maintenance, and the production team. Review and process productions sheets and other reports related to paperwork as required by The Company and each customer's order. Assure errors and/or corrections are reported to the shift supervisor and operator immediately and make corrections. Work as part of the production team and ensures that the quality requirements meet or beat the customer's specifications. Meet customer order specifications within tolerances set, and report problems to maintenance and management. Correct deviations to customer's standards immediately and segregate or scrap questionable product. Ensure all team members stay on task and return on time from breaks and lunch. Recommend solutions and improvements to quality and processes and solve problems.
Required Education, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Read, write and speak English competently. Possess High School Diploma, GED or equivalent Perform basic mathematical equations Read, analyze and interpret complex documents relating to Manufacturing Computer aptitude and skills Adjust to multiple demands, shifting work priorities, adversity and change. Understanding of line processes, procedures and equipment. Show attention to details.
