Automated Drive Systems

Production Technician UL 508A Control Panels

Entry-Level JobVerifiedNo experience needed

Job Description

Every day, this shop stops producing for an hour and forty-five minutes, inside your shift. The sequence doesn't change. We stretch, run 3S, then everyone gets at least twenty minutes to work on something that bothers them about their own bench or their own process. After that, topic of the day, which is where cross-training and book club happen. Then a floor production meeting so everyone starts the day ready. Twice a week, that topic slot becomes a full period of improvement time instead. We put that first because it's the job as much as the panels are. Automated Drive Systems builds UL 508A control panels in Omaha, NE, and we're hiring because demand is growing. The work The work covers the whole panel. Mating and mechanical layout, wiring, QC, and testing. We don't hand you a print and expect you to interpret it. We use EPLAN's digital production guidance system, so the build reaches you as step-by-step instructions. That's deliberate. We'd rather your attention go into building it right and improving how we build than into decoding a drawing. We run cell-based manufacturing, so you move between cells depending on load and what's being built. Over a month, you'll work in nearly all of them. Panels hand off between people at a few stages, so how clean you leave a job for the next person is part of the work. What the seat is really for This is a technical seat, but the real job is helping us push how we build control panels further. Every technician here is expected to be influential in how we build in the future, not just how we build today. What we're looking for We hire for mindset first. Bring good mechanical aptitude and care about doing the work right, and we'll train the electrical side. The details On-site in Omaha, NE 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The daily improvement block is inside the shift, not on top of it. $24.50 per hour and up, based on experience Authorized to work in the
