Wave Solder Operator - Contract to Hire A growing electronics manufacturer in Nashua, NH is seeking a dependable, detail-driven Wave Solder Operator to join its production team. In this hands-on role, you'll run lead and lead-free wave soldering machines, keep product moving through the wave process, and perform the routine maintenance that keeps operations running smoothly. Pay Rate of the
Wave Solder Operator:
$22.00 - $25.00 per hour. Schedule of the
Wave Solder Operator:
Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Responsibilities of the
Wave Solder Operator:
Run wave soldering machines for lead and lead-free equipment according to schedule. Dispose of lead and lead-free solder dross properly, following state requirements. Perform weekly, monthly, and annual maintenance on wave soldering machines. Move product to and from the wave process throughout the day to keep operations moving, including running the wash. Remove Kapton tape from boards after wave and before the cleaner (assistance provided during heavy workloads). Perform mechanical assembly on printed circuit boards as required, using mechanical hardware per CircuitCam and work instructions. Use handheld tools, including a handheld screwdriver and drill press, to complete tasks. Mark up any documentation or technical issues that arise during production, and elevate concerns that can't be resolved by the supervisor. Enter defects and workstation times daily. Assist with functional testing, final assembly, packing, and shipping when needed. Participate in an environment focused on learning, continuous improvement, and teamwork. Perform additional tasks outlined by senior management to help the company grow and continuously improve. Qualifications of the
Wave Solder Operator:
1+ years of experience assembling printed circuit boards (preferred). Experience with wave machines (preferred). Ability to lift or move objects up to 50 lbs.
