Cabinet Ink Production Technician II Part time: PM Schedule under 29 hours per week, 2:30 pm

06/2026 Cabinet Ink Production Technician II The Cabinet Ink Production Technician II is a skilled production role responsible for independently operating printing equipment, completing customer orders from intake to delivery, assisting with scheduling, training Level I staff, and contributing to business growth.
Supervision Exercised:
None Duties Perform all duties of Cabinet Ink Production Technician I Independently operate the Brother GTX Pro DTG Printer and related production equipment. Troubleshoot routine printing issues and escalate advanced repairs as needed. Prepare garments, pretreat items, stage jobs, and ensure production readiness. Perform daily and weekly printer maintenance and maintain equipment cleanliness. Manage assigned customer orders from intake through completion while meeting deadlines. Assist with quotes, invoices, payment documentation, and order tracking. Conduct quality control checks to ensure accurate prints, color consistency, and finished product standards. Monitor and maintain inventory levels of apparel, ink, transfer materials, and supplies. Train, coach, and mentor Level I Inkers in production processes and workplace expectations. Support design edits, Adobe Photoshop file setup, and print-ready artwork preparation. Assist with marketing efforts including product promotion, displays, and social media content. Track production metrics, completed orders, and workflow efficiency. Identify opportunities to improve operations, customer experience, and revenue generation. Provide excellent customer service in a respectful, professional, and empowering manner. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized production workspace. Participate in team meetings, trainings, and program planning efforts. Align work with the mission, values, and strategic goals of The Children's Cabinet. Perform other duties as assigned.
Entry Level Qualifications:
Ability to: Independently operate printing equipment and complete assigned production tasks with accuracy and efficiency. Support ordering, inventory tracking, and supply management with strong attention to detail. Work efficiently under pressure and problem-solve in fast-paced or changing environments. Communicate clearly, respectfully, and professionally with diverse customers, donors, vendors, and team members. Train and mentor entry-level staff using patience, professionalism, and positive leadership. Maintain high organizational standards while managing multiple orders and deadlines. Conduct quality control checks and ensure finished products meet production standards. Uphold safety, privacy, and compliance expectations in all work areas. Represent The Children's Cabinet positively to the public, customers, and partner agencies. Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills including empathy, cultural humility, teamwork, and a solution-focused mindset. Use basic computer systems for order tracking, invoices, design files, and communication. Special Requirements High School Diploma / GED preferred or actively working toward completion. Minimum six months successful Level I experience or related work experience preferred. Basic computer skills required; Adobe Photoshop or design experience preferred. Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. Must have reliable transportation to and from work. Must be physically capable of performing all job duties, including standing for extended periods, bending, reaching, repetitive hand motion, and walking up and down stairs. License or Certificate Able to pass complete background check. Adobe Photoshop certification or related industry credential preferred.
