This role will be involved in the development,commissioning,and ramping of high-speed automatedequipment, while working in a cross-functional team to test,validate, and roll-out process and product design changes. The battery cell is a criticalcomponentin Tesla vehicles and storage systems. This role will have the opportunity to make meaningful contributions to our products.

The ideal candidate should be ready to push their limits, as they joinahighly motivated and capableteam. What You'll Do Support development, commissioning, and ramp of custom high-speed automated manufacturing equipment Perform equipment setup, operation, adjustments, and maintenance to meet safety, quality, and efficiency standards Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers and suppliers toidentifyissues and drive engineering improvements Debug andoptimizeautomated processes to reduce cycle times and maximize OEE Troubleshoot complex issues using PLC, HMI, and tool management software while supporting operations during extended downtime Develop operating procedures, training materials, maintenance routines, and equipment documentation Conduct analytical tests, record and interpret data, andparticipatein supplier and internal FAT/SAT activities What You'll Bring 3+ years of hands-on operational and technical experience with mechatronics or electromechanical systems in a highly automated manufacturing environment Strong knowledge of root cause analysis, high and low voltage systems, and electrical safety practices Proficient in metal working, fabrication tools, hand/power tools, and basic electrical testing equipment Ability to perform hands-on assembly, disassembly, and inspections with good manual dexterity and ability tolift upto 20 pounds Strongproficiencyin MS Word, Excel, and other business systems to manage and interpret technical data Excellent attention to detail, structured problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making skills Ability to collaborate in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment with availability for domestic and international travel Compensation and Benefits Benefits Along with competitive pay, as a full-time Tesla employee, you are eligible for the following benefits at day 1 of hire: Medical plans > plan options with $0 payroll deduction Family-building, fertility, adoption and surrogacy benefits Dental (including orthodontic coverage) and vision plans, both have options with a $0 paycheck contribution Company Paid (Health Savings Accounts) HSA Contribution when enrolled in the High-Deductible medical plan with HSA Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) 401(k) with employer match, Employee Stock Purchase Plans, and other financial benefits Company paid Basic Life, AD&D Short-term and long-term disability insurance (90 day waiting period) Employee Assistance Program Sick and Vacation time (Flex time for salary positions, Accrued hours for Hourly positions), and Paid Holidays Back-up childcare and parenting support resources Voluntary benefits to include: critical illness, hospital indemnity, accident insurance, theft & legal services, and pet insurance Weight Loss and Tobacco Cessation Programs Tesla Babies program Commuter benefits Employee discounts and perks program
