Production Technician Manufacturing / Production / Quality Cortland, New York Direct-Hire Nov 21, 2025 Production Test Technician We're excited to share an opportunity to join a growing biotech manufacturing company as a Production Test Technician. In this role, you'll work hands-on with electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems that support the production of precision medical devices. If you enjoy troubleshooting, working with technical equipment, and being part of a team that values quality and innovation, this could be a great fit. Responsibilities Perform maintenance, testing, and repairs on electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems and components. Repair and calibrate precision medical flow sensors, and support the recirculation and testing of flow meters. Troubleshoot and repair a wide range of equipment, including programmable controls, numerical controls, gauges, and test instruments. Set up and operate hand tools and electronic equipment to build products according to work orders, standard work instructions, and inspection procedures. Record inspection results and enter data into the device database and other internal systems. Take on work that requires strong knowledge of electrical/electronic and mechanical principles, specifications, electrical codes, materials, and the operation of electronic equipment. Maintain performance and maintenance records for assigned equipment. Order necessary parts to complete repairs and ensure smooth workflows. Perform preventive maintenance as scheduled. Support manufacturing teams with technical troubleshooting and hands-on assistance.
Requirements:
AS Degree strongly preferred, though not required 2+ years of experience, calibration experience hard requirement. Grasp of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, temperature, mechatronic and electronic and measurement techniques Experience with electronic test equipment, Function Generator, digital /analog multimeter, temperature instruments and equipment #onsite
