Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Line Operator to join ourproduction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and monitoring production equipment, ensuring that apples are packed accurately and efficiently. This role requires a strong understanding of machine processes, including the use of various tools and equipment such as baggers, roll stock machines, tray lanes, defective sorters and bin fillers. The Line Operator will work collaboratively with other team members to maintain production quality and adhere to safety standards. Responsibilities Operate and monitor production equipment Pack fruit according to specifications and ensure quality control throughout the production process. Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance. Handle materials safely and efficiently, following proper materials handling procedures. Troubleshoot minor issues with machinery and report any significant problems to the supervisor. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals while maintaining high-quality standards. Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment. Requirements Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred. Familiarity with compac/Tomra equipment a plus. Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to operate various types of machinery. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team setting. Willingness to adhere to safety guidelines and company policies.
