Part-Time Manufacturing Technician

Schedule:

Flexible part-time schedule. Typically 3-4 days per week, under 32 hours total. We are willing to work with the right candidate on scheduling. Whether you prefer shorter workdays or a traditional schedule, flexibility is available. About This Opportunity This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands, building things, fixing things, and learning practical skills. No manufacturing experience is required. We are looking for dependable individuals with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn. We regularly hire and train people with no prior experience in manufacturing. If you are willing to learn, we are willing to teach. About Us Apparatus Manufacturing is a precision sheet metal fabrication company serving industries such as transportation, agriculture, technology, and industrial equipment manufacturing. We operate modern CNC equipment and produce components ranging from simple brackets to complex assemblies. What You'll Do Remove sharp edges from manufactured parts Install hardware into sheet metal components Clean and prepare parts for production Package completed products Load and unload CNC machinery Perform basic quality inspections Assist with general shop operations As your skills develop, opportunities exist to learn additional equipment and manufacturing processes. What We're Looking For Reliable attendance Ability to follow instructions Positive attitude Willingness to learn Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Attention to detail Enjoys hands-on work and learning new skills Manufacturing experience is not required. Compensation & Growth Starting pay is $18/hour. Employees have opportunities to increase their compensation as they develop new skills, take on additional responsibilities, and learn more advanced manufacturing processes.
