Job Description

This is a new role for a new shift. We are currently running Monday-Thursday on 10 hour days. We are building up staff to begin running 8 hours shifts. Training will be conducted on both 1st and 2nd shift. Celebrating our 104th Anniversary in 2026, Iten Industries, Inc. supplies the custom manufacture of thermoset and thermoplastic components. Job Summary:
The Pultrusion Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring pultrusion machines used to produce fiberglass or composite materials according to production specifications. This position ensures continuous operation of the production line, maintains quality standards, and performs routine checks to verify product dimensions and integrity. The role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety procedures, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Trains and works under the supervision of experienced press operator/trainers; Assists in setting up and operating presses; Performs general housekeeping duties; Obtains schedule and work orders to be used in production process; Prepares and releases materials for production; Performs quality checks on material; Prepares product for shipping; Operates tow motor when necessary; Assists other employees in the department with troubleshooting issues; Other duties as may be assigned. Must be safety oriented. Must be able to pass a drug test. Attendance and reliability are a must!
