ASI provides solutions in the automotive, aerospace, and fiber optic industries all over the world. We are committed to growing our operations with professional and valued team members. Position Summary We have openings in our manufacturing operation. This is an exciting opportunity to receive training and become familiar with various manufacturing processes and equipment used in our production operations. We are seeking skilled and versatile individuals who can thrive in a fast-paced working environment and handle different tasks required for daily operations. We foster a dynamic environment where the right candidate can recognize and make a positive impact and contribution to our company. Responsibilities Plan and layout work to meet production and schedule requirements. Calibrate and adjust equipment to ensure quality production, using tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Follow all standard operating procedures for setup, operation, shutdown, and maintenance of daily production equipment. Accurately record and document production activities, and provide production, progress, or changeover reports to shift supervisors. Develop and implement new processes and process improvements as needed. Maintain a clean and safe workspace to 5S standards. Manage inventory using the inventory management system as it applies to the assigned operation. Stay up-to-date with efficient methods of production and equipment maintenance procedures.
