Production Technician 27+ HR | 2nd Shift

Job Title:

Grinder / Metal Finishing Production Operator Overview Join a small, team‑based production cell manufacturing heavy‑duty forklift attachments. This hands‑on role focuses on grinding, straightening, and inspecting large metal components to ensure high quality in a heavy industrial environment. Responsibilities Grind and finish metal parts using 6" and 9" grinders and hand tools Smooth, straighten, and visually inspect metal components Safely handle heavy forklift attachments, including lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly Enter basic production and inspection data into a computer Assist other departments as needed to support production Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE Work as part of a small team to meet daily production goals Available for overtime and occasional Saturdays as needed Requirements 2+ years of manufacturing or heavy industrial experience Experience using grinders or similar hand tools Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly Experience with visual or quality inspection Basic computer skills Reliable, team‑oriented, and safety‑focused Preferred Metalworking or fabrication experience Forklift experience ISO or quality‑driven manufacturing experience Why Work Here This is a direct‑hire role offering the stability of a large global company with a family‑style, local feel. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $27.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
