Job Description
Basic Purpose of Position:
Production Tech's support the Production department in maintaining the production schedule; Working as a team in a fast-paced environment to build/package products and unload containers according to the Production schedule.Essential Duties, Responsibilities and Key Metrics:
- Follow Production Scheduling System
- Insert Packaging Card into Parts as described.
- Box pans in a master (carton) for shipping.
- Follow "How To's" and Computer Build Notes to properly package, box, and build product pallets.
- Follow all safety rules and procedures.
- Accomplish per build goal times.
- Use a tape machine, tape gun, and utility knife.
- Replenish parts on the Production line.
- Work as a team member to accomplish producing quality products with integrity & excellence.
- Display drive and accountability to deliver department results.
- Must listen to and follow instructions from Line Leader
Key Metrics:
Producing products to meet or exceed scheduled rates outlined by Schedule and Attendance without unplanned absences. KPIs 1. Meeting/Beating Production Goals per Line. 2. 100% Attendance 3. Proper use of How To's.Essential Education and Skills Needed:
Minimum education requirement: High School Diploma. Must be computer literate and must speak, read, and write the English language fluently.Typical Physical Tasks:
- Able to lift or carry up to 50 pounds.
- Able to stand regularly for extended periods.
- Able to move on concrete, occasionally in tight spaces.
