Job Description

We are an innovative facility specializing in injection molding, including gas assist molding, and structural foam molding. Manufacturing experience is a plus but not necessary. We offer paid training, health insurance, 401K, Paid Time Off and Sick Time. Must be able to pass a background check.
Summary:
As a press operator, you will play a key role in our manufacturing operations by producing, assembling, and packaging high‑quality, defect‑free molded parts that meet all customer requirements and specifications. This role involves removing parts from molds, performing necessary trimming or secondary operations, and conducting continuous visual inspections to ensure product quality. Operators must work efficiently, maintain accuracy, and communicate issues promptly to support consistent production performance.
What you will do:
Inspect molded parts using posted work instructions and quality standards. Assemble and package finished products according to specifications. Ensure accuracy of product and carton counts. Document scrap accurately on process monitors and production paperwork. Immediately report scrap, rework, quality concerns, or equipment issues to the supervisor or team lead. Verify availability and accuracy of raw materials, components, cartons, and labels at the workstation. Remove molded parts from the injection molding machine while maintaining established cycle times. Trim flash and inspect parts to meet quality requirements. Perform secondary operations such as hot stamping, milling, sonic welding, heat staking, assembly, or decorating. Label cartons and code products as required. Complete all paperwork accurately and legibly. Rework nonconforming products and document appropriately. Use visual tools and display boards to support production. Participate in problem‑solving activities and follow ISO procedures. What you will need for this role: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work in a fast‑paced, multitasking environment. Detail‑oriented with strong manual dexterity. Basic math skills (addition and subtraction). Strong decision‑making ability. Able to work independently with minimal supervision. Flexible and dependable to meet operational needs.
