As a Sr. Manufacturing Process Technician, you will play a crucial role in operating automated and innovative manufacturing equipment for the packaging operations of our products. Responsibilities Operate and troubleshoot automated assembly, labeling, printing, and robotic automation equipment. Perform equipment setup, operation, and troubleshooting under limited supervision to meet safety, quality, and efficiency standards. Maintain machine uptime by clearing faults and stoppages on automated equipment. Conduct basic routine manufacturing process operations such as dispensing raw materials, material reconciliation, line clearance, basic analytics, and record transactions. Review documentation for assigned areas, including procedures, job plans, logs, area audits, and batch records. Assist as a training resource on manufacturing tasks and equipment use. Use human machine interfaces (HMIs) to identify alarms and correct line stoppages. Ensure components and products are available for continuous operation. Carry out equipment inspections and generate emergency corrective or preventative work orders. Troubleshoot and identify potential solutions for mechanical errors, safety issues, or general operating inefficiencies within production processes. Partner with cross-functional teams to drive improvement opportunities. Use computer systems to support material inventory systems, SAP transactions, and electronic batch records. Follow standardized operating procedures safely, including material handling, record keeping, assembly, and packaging while adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). Report discrepancies to the Team Leader or Production Supervisor to ensure quality standards and safety. Train fellow staff on manufacturing processes and equipment. Essential Skills At least a High school diploma or GED. 2+ years of regulated manufacturing experience in GMP regulated environments, pharmaceutical manufacturing, pharmaceutical packaging, or food manufacturing. Additional Skills & Qualifications An Associate's or Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required. Work Environment This role involves working 12-hour shifts from 6pm to 6:30am, alternating between a 3-day work week one week and a 4-day work week the next, with typical work every other weekend. The facility is heavily regulated, offering a clean and climate-controlled environment. This is a valuable opportunity to gain experience in a GMP environment and be part of a rapidly expanding company with potential for growth into level 2 and 3 roles. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of New Albany, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $29.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
