Job Duties and Responsibilities:

In addition to other duties that may be assigned, incumbents will be expected to perform the following:

Safety/Housekeeping:

Follow all Job Safety/Health & Environmental rules/policies to include wearing/maintaining proper PPE; Follow good housekeeping/5S rules/policies; Follow BeCare/Bekaert Lifesaving rules/policies; Report any unsafe work act/condition to your supervisor or other member of management; Report any accident/incident and/or near miss accident/incident, including property damange to your supervisor or other member of management.

Quality/Integrity:

Perform job to the expected quality standards to include applicable Policies/Guidelines, SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and/or Work Instructions; Meet/Exceed expected work/product quality standards; Work well with other team members to create a positive work environment free from harassment and where other team members are treated with integrity and respect; Act in accordance with the Bekaert Code of Conduct.

Job Duties:

(1) Set-up and operate galvanizing wire machine with minimum supervision (2) Position and secure stock coil on pay off and adjust pay off (3) change out tooling for drawing process when applicable per instruction card (4) band steel coil per job instruction (5) butt weld ends of coils together to form continuous feed (6) monitor mill to detect issues (7) keep accurate product data and records as required (8) correct or adjust any machine malfunction immediately to ensure continuity of production and quality of next process

Physical Requirements:

Heavy work: Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Our Commitment to
