Job Description
Overview Joby is seeking passionate individuals for a 6-month Manufacturing Technician Associate temporary position. No industry experience is required! If you are motivated to take the next step in your career, we encourage you to apply. Individuals with a passion for hands-on trades and crafts, and anyone interested in working in manufacturing, are a great fit for this opportunity. Responsibilities Working hands-on in a shop environment as a team member that may include: Robot Operation Carbon Fiber Parts Fabrication Aircraft Assembly & Painting CNC Machining Quality Required High School Diploma or GED equivalent Ability to follow safe work practices Ability to learn quickly Ability to lift 50 pounds Good attention to detail Basic problem-solving, communication, and critical thinking skills Knowledge of basic hand tools Basic computer knowledge Can verbally communicate, comprehend written and verbal instructions, drawings, and documents in English Capable of basic mathematical calculations Must demonstrate eligibility to work in the U.S. - Employment sponsorship is not available Additional Information This is a temporary role, anticipated to last 6 months. The target base pay for this position is $16-$22/hr. The compensation will be determined by job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Joby Aviation is an equal opportunity employer.
