Our Blood Institute is actively seeking qualified candidates for a rewarding position that is responsible for successfully manufacturing blood and blood components. Considered applicants must have a high school diploma, transcript, or GED . A successful candidate must be on-time, reliable, good communicator, detail oriented, and work well with others. This position requires candidates to have reliable transportation, working telephone, standing for long periods of time, and ability to lift 50 lbs regularly. Location:
Oklahoma City, OK Pay:
$15.00-$20.00 based on education and/or experience ; additional pay if fluent in Spanish; PAID on-the-job training ;
Days:
Friday through Tuesday (Temporary to Permanent with 40 hours a week)
Hours:
2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. (EVENINGS)
Position:
To successfully manufacture blood and blood component.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required Good communication skills and professional demeanor Problem solving ability Ability to work well with people Computer skills preferred Some moderate lifting required
Primary Responsibilities:
Manufacture blood and blood components Prepare blood and blood components for labeling Label blood and blood components Triage whole blood according to inventory needs Manufacture apheresis red blood cells Perform maintenance of equipment as appropriate Maintain cleanliness of the manufacturing lab BPS and Reference Lab orders Take SOPs as appropriate
