In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for the precise assembly, testing, and quality control of our compact, wearable C-UAS products. Responsibilities Assembly & Fabrication:
Perform meticulous assembly of small electronic and mechanical components for wearable C-UAS devices according to detailed blueprints, schematics, and work instructions. This will involve soldering, crimping, wiring harnesses, and fine motor skills.
Testing & Quality Control:
Conduct various tests (e.g., functional, electrical, calibration) on assembled products using specialized equipment to ensure they meet strict performance and quality specifications. Identify and report any defects or non-conformances.
Documentation:
Accurately record production data, test results, and any issues encountered during the assembly process. Follow strict documentation procedures to maintain product traceability and quality records.
Troubleshooting:
Assist in basic troubleshooting of assembly and testing issues, escalating more complex problems to senior technicians or engineering staff.
Tool & Equipment Maintenance:
Maintain and properly use production tools and equipment, ensuring they are calibrated and in good working order.
Inventory & Organization:
Assist with managing component inventory on the production line and maintaining a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
Process Adherence:
Strictly adhere to all safety protocols, quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001, military specifications), and production procedures.
Continuous Improvement:
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, providing feedback on assembly processes and suggesting improvements for efficiency and quality.
Team Collaboration:
Work effectively as part of a production team, collaborating with colleagues and supervisors to achieve production goals. Professional Qualifications Associate's degree, Vocational training or technical certifications in electronics, electrical assembly, manufacturing technology, or a related field. 1-2 years of experience in a related manufacturing or production environment. Experience with soldering of small electronics Personal Qualifications Demonstrated strong manual dexterity and excellent hand-eye coordination required for small-scale assembly work. Ability to read and accurately follow technical instructions, schematics, and blueprints. Basic computer skills for data entry and using production software. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly.
