This company makes gas and oil turbine engine parts for some of the most recognizable companies in the industry. They're located right in Portland, OR, they've been in business for over 80 years and this opportunity is located at their largest campus. As part of the Manufacturing Line Operator team, you'd complete all steps in the preparation and application of penetrant to castings prior to being inspected. It's a temporary-to-hire job that offers a full benefits package upon permanent hire, quarterly bonuses, and career growth opportunities.

Manufacturing Line Operator Job Duties:

Set up, operate, and monitor penetrant application to castings Test chemical tanks to assure they are at correct levels per specifications Submerge castings in chemical tank prior to inspection Removes castings, rinse and transfer to drying oven Inspect work for quality and complete documentation

Schedule:

Must be open to Swing or Graveyard shifts Swing shift: Monday•Friday, 2:30pm•10:30pm

Graveyard:

Sunday•Thursday, 10pm-6:30am

Manufacturing Line Operator Requirements :

Ability to wear

PPE:

steel toed boots, safety glasses, and hearing protection Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Proficient reading and following verbal or written instructions Basic math skills and comprehension

Pay:

$23.92 per hour
